remapping weekend.

Quantum remapping are coming to Gibraltar at the end of February (subject to numbers) we have 12 slots available. We are looking at organising an event for 27/28th February for a remapping weekend. Diesel Turbos get the best results so we thought we should contact you guys and I work in Gibraltar!

What is the best way to let them know? I am looking at the event for the end of February. Ill need peoples vehicle details of who is interested so i can give them expected figures and a price. Then its a 20% deposit and that will get them a slot. we can realistically do 12 vehicles total in the time allowed. Some newer vehicles need to be ECU removed, so wont be able to be done on that event, but we can organise to get them done at a later date.

I am trying to confirm a location but hopefully it will be Europa point. its not rolling road so its just the equipment, so we dont need a lot of room. I just need to talk to the police and make sure its ok to do it in a public place. 

The difference is usually around 20%+ for diesel turbos for hp and torque. There are three main remaps, one for super economy, one all rounder and my personal favorite, just max power increase. 

I would be grateful if you could point me in the right direction to let your members know about the event.

Well I can say that you have started right by posting it here and I do not know if you are informed we have a location at Europa point were we do our events, maybe it can be done there.

That would be great, its really just our vehicle. Its done while the client waits, then a test drive, then that's it. Takes up to 1.5 hours but usually shorter if the car isnt heavily engine modified.

Response from UK HQ. (Working late!)

"We need to know if it has Electronic Fuel Injection?, if so then the ECU numbers will be needed to check if it is a supported vehicle. If the customer can supply more info, that would be great."

Then we can give you projected increases and a cost.

Working with the Gibraltar police at the moment to get a licence to set-up. Should be all sorted soon. Looking forward to it!
