Event Description

The Club has been invited to attend a Rally Raid into Morocco from our friend of Maroc Challenge,Rui Cabaco.

The idea is to create a team of three or more vehicles to participate in the Rally representing our Club and Gibraltar

The team has to be sure to go by the rules of the organisation and has to be able to use GPS navigation.This is also a Solidarity Raid and there is also a prize for the most Solidarity Team.

CATEGORY ADVANCE (new):

This category is for participants with experience in Raids, in order to participate you have participated once in the category Challenge Maroc Adventure or to certify having participated in any other type of event with the same degree of difficulty. The tour is made by Track. The percentage of dirt tracks is superior to the Adventure category.

Age of vehicles: manufactured before 1995

Authorized vehicles: only 4 x 2 and 4 x 4

Degree of difficulty: 4 x 2: very high, 4 x 4: high

Time limit for the stage: YES

Classification: Yes

New general rules

New rules for the use of the GPS

New table of penalties

New table of bonuses

New rules for anti-sport attitudes

The new regulation will be available briefly.

CLASSIFICATION:

A more detailed classification map! All participants can now know the reason for its criminalization without resorting to a member of the organization.

DELIVERY OF THE GPS AT THE END OF THE STAGES:

The delivery of GPS for the download of the Track done by each team is immediately made in the Waypoint arrival (meta). No longer need to wait or come back later!

In the campsite or local goal there will be a bulletin board, which may communicate any additional information for the stage of the next day.

SOLIDARITY MATERIAL:

A bonus for the general classification for more solidarity teams!

REDUCTION OF COSTS OF PARTICIPATION:

Currently we are in negotiations with a new shipping company for reduction of cost of the journey of ida to Melilla.

AWARDS FOR THE WINTER EDITION:

Accolades for the Winter Edition will be carried out during the first half of October, up to this date we cannot send the list of hotels or campsites for teams participating.
