Event Description

Drive 6000 kms into the heart of Morocco in a solidarity manner.16 days travelling,1st. day, from Tangier to Midelt were we spend the night to start early in the morning to cross the High Atlas through the Circ Du Jafa were we start to do our fisrt solidarity work up to Imilchid,stay for the night at the albergue Tislite.2nd day.Early start to Ait Hani,again doing solidarity work on the way,then directions to Ameyago Valley to Rich were we get new directions to Boudenib,camping in the desert or hotel ,depending on the time we take.3rd day desolate desert drive to Erfoud,have lunch refill tanks and carry on to the Oasis Oubrika,2 days to do solidarity work in the area.Day 6 Taous to Tagounite,again in a solidarity manner,depending at what time arrival we stay at hotel or carry on to M,hamid.Day 7 Iriki piste to Tata,again depending on the time we camp or stay at hotel in Tata.Day 8,Tata to Tafraoute,camp at the Painted Rocks Valley.Day 9,Tafraoute to Smara,camping in the desert,Day 10,Smara to Layoune,Stay at hotel.Day 11,Layoune to Plage Blanche drive to Fort Bou Cherif.Day 12,Sidi Ifni stop for lunch,then to Marakesh,2 day visit the medina.Day 14 Marakesh to Chef Chauyen.Day 15 Tangier stay at hotel for next day get the ferry back home.

If I manage to find another then I would love to attend or even the next time you go after that.

Comment by Marocatlasgib4x4 Club on December 27, 2009 at 19:03: As you can see on google maps we are going to do a long run with lots of off roading to acheive our solidarity work to the most remotes places,we will have some campings which will give us the chance of wathing the expectacular skys in the desert and the magical sunrises and sunsets.
