It seems that the school is having electricity problems, so we have been asked for a generator which the club owns one and will be donated for them.

It will be delivered to them on our next visit during our 29th Solidarity Raid next month.

The terrain to Taourarte!

Stage 11, Chef Chawuen - Tangier.

This stage we will have to do depending of the time we leave Chawuen after having lunch at Casa Hassan, hopefully it could be done and reach Ain Lahcen for a snack before continuing to Tarik Hotel in Tangier as planned or we travel on the main road.

Best restaurant in town!

Fantastic views all the way to Ain Lahcen.

Ain Lachen snack or dinner stop.

Getting to the  west coastline to Tangier!

Hopefully if all has gone as planned, we have 2 nights in Tangier before heading back home on the ferry from Tangier to Tarifa.

Only 13 days to our meeting!

Reserved restaurant for our lunch on the last Saturday of the trip in Tangier!

Due to the disaster last Friday in the south west of Morocco we will be changing some plans on our raid to visit the remote villages affected by the earthquake. Stage 3 & 4 is in the area as you can see the yellow stars of our wpts. We will change it.
As you all know by now we have joint forces with the Muslim Youth of Gibraltar Movement and a fundraise is going ahead with great results thanks to our community.
Plans are being made for the logistics, will update you as everything goes in the next days.
Thanks to our volunteers for their support towards this.

Sure we can provide much needed things!

Plans have been changed and here it shows what we will be doing as from stage 2 & 3, we will spend 4 days in the area to visit the affected remote villages and provide them what they need. As you can see we will be moving in the epicentre of the affected area. We will end at Ait ben haddou where whoever wishes to turn back, they can do so from here perfectly to Marrakech - Tangier.

The response team will be in the area for 4 days, this is planned for those only coming for a week, we will continue our 29th Solidarity Raid itinerary as planned with the rest of the team.

Since we had our first meeting 4 days ago I have been working on the changes for our first stages due to the disaster in the region of Al-Haouz.

We will be keeping to our 1st Stage from Tangier - Ouzoud, from here we will start to enter the disaster zone heading south-west.

We will spend the first day visiting remote villages in this area , diverting onto tracks to help where needed.

We will be through the zero zone, where most of the help is needed. Again we will be diverting onto tracks that can even be yet not 100% accessible, so need to be cautious. We will reach the Tizi N´Test and stay there for the night.

Next day we will divert from the Tizi N´Test onto the tracks and continue our humanitarian work in the region. We will hit the main road again and head to Taliouine and stay there for the night.

After a nice rest and good breakfast we will start our last day of our humanitarian response work done by our team in the area of the earthquake disaster. Once again we will be on the tracks to help where most needed. We will get back on the road and head up to Ait Ben Haddou where we will stay for the night.

Those coming just for the first week will finish their trip with us here.

Looking forward to all this as it will give our solidarity raid a great purpose.

For the rest of the team we will have just a slightly change starting from Ouarzazate to get us down to Foum Zguid to continue the rest of the itinerary as planned for the next 3 stages.
