30th Anniversary Raid 2024!

30 years since our first Raid back in 1994, many have lived the adventure with us and have been part of our solidarity projects and works. Would like to take the opportunity to thank each and everyone for their cooperation and support, many for some years now.

So we have  about 11 months to start to get ready for our 30th Solidarity Raid 2024, dates to be announced but it will be during the month of November.

This one will be a challenge and an adventure, 80% off-road for over 4000 km visiting spectacular places and our school projects and collaborate with humanitarian help together with local associations.

We will be having plenty of night camps, best therapy ever!

We will travel from North to South through the Grand Atlas to reach to the Western Moroccan Sahara and do the Atlantic coastline beach run of over 50km, plus other beaches were we will also camp.

Then we will travel through the Sahara heading West doing the legendary Dakar Rally tracks.

On our second day we will start to accent to the Grand Atlas passing by the Catedral Roche with great views and reaching G4 Ghandini 2750 m over sea level.

A total of 160 km up the Grand Atlas to reach the G4.

 We will continue another 108 km to arrive at Imilchil and visit the lakes Tislit & Isli. In total 268 km full of adventures for the day!

I have been working again on the route for this year raid and have come to the conclusion that to be able to do a good challenge for our anniversary, I have made some changes and the itinerary is now complete with approximately 4100 km of adventures which I hope many will enjoy.

"All is getting ready for our great adventure, we will be having our first meeting on the 22nd of May at 19:00 hrs at our Club premises for those interested. We will be planning the route and deciding how to proceed. "

The reintroductions of animals, first in breeding and then free, have paid off: we have listed two areas in the South to make these encounters, we will be searching for them during our desert adventure!

Well today we had our first meeting and we can say that we had a good turnout. We discussed the route and we all decided that it would be better to visit our solidarity projects on the first days of the trip and then make the most of the raid a challenge for us all. 

 This will be a great adventure for all, and that includes me!
