Charity Event!

I have been today at the reclamation site at Catalan Bay to see how the terrain is at the moment,there is enough space for us to create the tracks and the people on site are willing once again to help us out,now all we need is to start our homework in trying to organize this event.

My idea this time is to do the Charity event in aim of the GibMission Africa organisation with who I have already talked with and are very exited with the idea and are willing to collaborate with us on this event.So I put this out to the members who a willing once again to support the Club and its cause.

Great idea and nice cause,just hope the members commit themselves as they did for the GBC Open Day event and have a great time on our 2nd Trail event!

Yes it will be put to the committee on our next meeting and we will take it from there.

The Committee has discussed this as part of the Clubs agenda so its confirmed to go ahead,we will be having a meeting with GibMission Africa to see how we can do this together,so now we will like to Know which members will be willing to join in and help out,thanks for your support!

We have been in contact with GibMission Africa and we will be meeting this coming Wednesday to talk about the event,so we will need the collaboration of the committee members to attend this meeting,please reply or contact Alfred for details.

Today me and Louis attended the meeting with Shane Smith who is representing GibMission Africa in the name of Father George Gomila who is doing a great job in Africa and elsewhere,we were given a great info of their works and how they provide home for children with special needs and orphans,this is a great cause and the Club would really like to get involved in this project so please reply to this thread if you want to join in.

Would have to have a date before i commit as i travel  a lot, would not like to miss it this time round as last year i was involved with the fair having two extra days there. Would not want to miss this one.
