Charity Event!

I have been today at the reclamation site at Catalan Bay to see how the terrain is at the moment,there is enough space for us to create the tracks and the people on site are willing once again to help us out,now all we need is to start our homework in trying to organize this event.

My idea this time is to do the Charity event in aim of the GibMission Africa organisation with who I have already talked with and are very exited with the idea and are willing to collaborate with us on this event.So I put this out to the members who a willing once again to support the Club and its cause.

Things are getting ready Brian but by the look of it we will have to do it after the fair this year so hopefully you will be able to collaborate in this time ;-)

As there are no fixed dates for this event i have booked myself a holiday to Thailand and the Phillipines starting 14th Sept till around 5th Oct. Hope i do not miss this .

Again we have the Music Festival on the same weekend we would like to do the event so I guess we should look forward for the next weekend that will be our chance to do our event,we have to get the ball rolling though!

Sorry guys this is the date i leave for my annual holidays so you cannot count on me, in fact due to me sisters treatment i shall away from Gib from now till beginning of Dec, but i will be going and coming to gib for short trips.

I have been today at the Technical Services office to see about the permission and I have been informed that it will be impossible to use the reclamation area this year for our event as its is being used for a few projects which are going ahead during this coming months,not all are bad news as we are being proposed to use another area,more info will be posted soon!

This is the area we are looking at,lets cross our fingers cause we will need the support of the constructors to be able to use it for our event!
