Just wanted to say a quick "Hola" to everyone.... things seem pretty quiet on the forum front.

 

nothing exciting happening here in the UK... weather is typically crap for near-mid June.

 

The 110 is having a bit of TLC performed on the drive... new front brakes, service, fitting a dixon bate towbar (grafting it onto the tank guard i've got)

 

Project90 is going well. See it here  just needs a proper flashable ECU

Hey, reading in the online Gib Cronicle & Panorama, I see there was some incident with the guarda shooting at some twats on a jetski?  what was that all about?

 

reports here say that "later" a boat was stopped on the African side and 100kg of drugs were found?

Were the jet-skiers just lads messing about or were the guards within their rights to try and stop drug dealers from hiding in UK waters?

Hi Jamie,yes there was an incident with a jet ski but has nothing to do with the other issue,this man was all day giving rides on his bike to family members and even the constables present at the beach were there to proof this,its just got off hand as it does every so and then in our British Waters!

Morning Jamie,this issue of the shooting has really gone around,things gets twisted and that's what the media does,here in Gibraltar we have a great police force dealing with the drug dealers in conjunction with the Guardia Civil,not even two weeks back they apprehended a speed boat with 500 kgs and they both worked together,GRP arrested the men and handed them over to the Spanish authorities,as in all there are people who do their job and others that thinks his got a license to kill because he wears a uniform.The chap on the jet ski is backed by the RGP on this issue as it happened on a public beach with loads of witnesses!

Ahh I see. Funny, the Gib cronicle seems to be pretty mainstream and factual...

Panorama on the other hand.... if you read that as gospel you'd think the rest of the world (fronted by Spain, naturally) are all against Gib.... LOL.

So the chap on the jetski was doing nothing wrong and the Guarda just barged in?

Yeah, I've seen the footage. you can hear the gunshots too.... it's like being on the range!

Well they had no reason to fire the shots their lives were never in danger as can be seen on the footage,though other peoples health were,even those who were at the beach,secondly they were patrolling British waters!
