If your tyre shopping read this!

Hey Dudes,

I've been tyre shopping and was originally looking for big and chunky MT's say 285/75/r16 or 305/70 r16 etc.., but after reading hundreds of forums on the subject my mind has been changed. Seems most guys who've had the sort of chunky tyres and worn them out are replacing them with tall skinny MT's. Then I found this article and it sums it all up.

Think I'm going with 255/85 r16

 

Mine is the 5 door, but you get the idea!

 Look out mud hole!!!!!

Shame i probably won't be able to get them till about a week after the 28th outing.

I guess getting stuck on the 28th will make me appreciate them that much more for the next outing:)

I'm probably the only guy who wasn't happy to see the sun today. Just a couple more weeks of rain so I can try out the new shoes!! We can't actually get on the beach, so I'm fine if we give summer a miss this year

Don't worry about rain,you will have lots of water on the 28th,we will probably get stuck more than once mate!

and if i can help anybody with tyres get in touch,,,i thought the guys with the sj,s wanted tyres,,,more i can get the cheaper the tyres,,,,,195x85x15 macho,s or special track,,,i can get both.....
