29th Solidarity Raid 2023, D Day!

So D day come and some still need to finish loading their vehicles.
GBC was at the port at our departure were our president made an interview for the local news. Quick to cross the straights and arrive at Tangier Med Port but an incident that has never happened in our 29 years of solidarity works done. We had to unload everything from our vehicles as the authorities said there was a new policy and no charity could pass the customs. We had to leave everything in the van from the Muslim Youth Association who were with us in this endeavour. The van stayed there for two days and then everything was delivered to the Red Cresent Association, equivalent to the Red Cross, over 1,500 kilos of merchandise for humanitarian help which later was distributed by them in the earthquake zone.
The team continued to Tangier and the next day visited our pitstop for a smoothie and get the sim cards for the phones.
Lunch at Rmilat and then got the highway to our first destination, Hotel La France in Ouzoud.

For me it was the worst experience ever lived in my 29 years crossing the Moroccan border, thought that would never happen to me!
