Yes Adam I have noticed what you said of the video,you can see he was ok up to the entrance of the field we turned into,when he got out from there its when Brian noticed he could not steer so he actually snapped the brackets just then.

If you look in the vid Alfred posted from that day you can see it was still intact early on.

I'd say that was pretty lucky nothing got seriously mangled there.

Did my ratchet strap survive?

dont know if you can quite make out,,but it had actually ripped the two front spring hangers off,,,there were spring hanger lifter brackets mounted to the original spring hangers,,,and these must have been cracked and because everything was new and tight...this must have been the weakest link and they just ripped off,,,,,so old brackets all modified and welded back on and front axle re aligned and refitted should be finished today all ready to go again,,,,,
