Our New Solidarity Project!

 Afella Pour le Dèveloppement in Morocco.

This is an association which we have visited in the town of Fezzou,we have joined in their venture of providing a new school for primary students who are not able to go to school as there is none available,the school in town takes in the children from 6 years onwards,the association is manned by the local teachers of the school who are willing to educate the children from an earlier age and get them prepared to enter the school in town,we have had a meeting with their president and committee to discuss their needs,we have an idea in what ways we could help out.

 

This is the classroom they have built for primary students,we provided them with some school materials which included a small blackboard & painting board.

Another of their mayor concerns is water,Fezzou is situated in the province of Alnif south in the deserted landscape of Morocco,tempertures can go over 40 degrees in the shade,their most nearest well is 14kms away from the town and so they desperately need a pumping system to provide water to their homes.Roy's Fish & Chips one of our sponsors accompanied us on this years Raid and has deeply got himself involved in this new project which he will support 100%,thanks Roy & Danny as you really have been doing a great job all the way.

We the Club have ventured into this project with a great enthusiasm and hoping we will get the same support of everyone to acheive this people's needs and dreams for a better future for their children.
