Event Description

This year we will be having our 31st Solidarity Raid on the month of May. This change is due to be able to adventure ourselves into the Grand Atlas and explore new tracks for many of us with a better weather than on month of November.

We will be having some mountain camps as we visit the N'kob and Saghro regions on the South face of the Anti Atlas enjoying the spectacular mountains formations and valleys.

On this raid we will be having a two days course of "Dunes Navigation" in Merzouga, meaning we will be spending more days in the region and visit some new locations for many of you coming.

As our raid states, we will be visiting our School Projects and other new ones we have planned to visit to help in whatever we can.

Comment by Marocatlasgib4x4 Club 10 hours ago: Stage 2, Azrou Imelghas; 441 km.

After a great camp at Azrou we will start early to enter the Grand Atlas, our aim is to reach Imelghas but we could find ourselves camping depending how we proceed during the day.

This will be a great challenge, reaching over 2000 m and enjoying spectacular views.

We will be passing through some villages were we will be providing some humanitarian help to those more in need.

Comment by Alfred Balban on Wednesday: Become a sponsor and contribute to The School Project by providing stationary and equipment to help the children with their education.

Comment by Alfred Balban on Tuesday: The change of dates is due to the weather, during May we will have better chances of doing the tracks programed for the raid and be able to do wild camps in the Atlas.

Comment by Dean Scrivener on Tuesday: 16 May to 01 Jun will be hard for me with wife's birthday and daughter summer travel. I cannot commit right now. Will see what my ladies have planned and I will circle back here.

Comment by Alfred Balban on Monday: Well on our first stage we will be travelling completely different to any of our starts.

We will leave Tangier just from the hotel, directing us through the center of the Rif mountains and entering the Semi Atlas through Azrou were we will be camping wild in the Cedar Forest, 440 km of countryside drive.
