Stress call from the dog compound in Los Barrios gets our response together with Dave from Animals In Need Foundation to move and deliver some dogs to foster homes.

FLOODING - LOS BARRIOS COMPOUND EVACUATION 2021

After some serious rainfall over the last few days, the Los Barrios compound had to be evacuated as the dogs were at serious risk of drowning. Over the last 2 days, we have been working with

SOS Perrera de Los Barrios

who have been absolutely amazing. Their selfless dedication to get the dogs out has saved countless lives. We have taken in 18 dogs and these dogs will stay with us until they are adopted. They have been taken to a mix of private kennels and foster homes and will hopefully find their forever homes soon. We also want to give a massive thank you to

who braved the flooded roads and safely delivered dogs to their foster homes. We couldn't have reached these dogs without their help.

Lastly, thank you to every single person who has been in touch to offer their home to a desperate dog in need. These dogs would have drowned today had you not opened up your homes to save their lives.

Once again the club has been approached by Animals In Need Foundation for our help to move 19 dogs with our vehicles.

This will be done next Friday at 7:00 am as they are being sent to Germany for fostering, we will move them from San Roque to La Linea Dog compound.

Once again MarocAtlasGib 4x4 club has been approached by Animal In Need Foundation, to help move 11 dogs with the club vehicles.

Here are some pics from this mornings Convoy transferring 11 dogs from San Roque compound to La Linea Dog compound. These dogs have been already checked by the veterinary and on their way to Germany for fostering.

Mission accomplished. well done MarocAtlasGib team. another successful Mission .

#LOSBARRIOS Lo han intentado, pero los 4x4 que trataban de acceder a la perrera de Los Barrios se han tenido que dar la vuelta, no han podido llegar por la altura del agua. La perrera pide zodiacs y kayaks para salvar a los animales de morir ahogados. Mira toda la información en estos enlaces:

Comienza el traslado de animales de la perrera al pabellón de deportes. Ahora se necesitan casas de acogida. Hasta allí se han desplazado miembros de la corporación municipal de Los Barrios y San Roque que piden no colapsar Ringo Rango para que los servicios puedan actuar.
