Dear participants,
Less than two months before the beginning of your adventure we start sending you all the necessary information to organize your teams!
So in the course of the next few weeks you are going to receive the following information:

Final program:
Timetables, technical and administrative, information on the stages and distances in kilometers.

 

Documentation:
Information about all the necessary documentation and vehicle personnel for customs in Morocco.

 

Ferry:
The organization of the Maroc Challenge has reserved seats for all participants in both paths, Motril / Melilla and Tangier (city) - Fee.
Very Important: The journey tickets Tangier - Tarifa are issued open, this means that each team can return to its rhythm or if any team wishing to be a few days in Morocco. To make this journey not to call or simply presented in the book the day chosen Ferry.

 

Campsites / Hotels:
The choice of accommodation is free. (Most teams choose the campsite). In some campsites also have the choice Bungalows!
To reserve accommodations will send an Excel sheet with details.
Some campsites is possible to book breakfast and dinner and all hotels dinner and breakfast are included in the price.

 

Regulation Winter Edition 2012:

Tracks, Waypoints and Guidebook:
On November 24 we will send the Tracks, Waypoints (GPS) and Guidebook (for printing).

There has been a misunderstanding in the way we have intrepeted the costs of the rally,if you can see this budget note at the bottom we did not count with the campings as we thought it as all in the prize already,hope this is of no inconvinienc as its just 70 euros per car for the whole rally>

The Maroc Challenge Raid is a low cost competition, so we have tried to minimise costs in order to provide you with a unique adventure as affordable as possible. You can get a good idea of the participation costs involved in the following estimate:

       Price/litre petrol in Morocco:1€

       Price/litre diesel in Morocco:0,73€

       Total distance covered in Morocco: 2.800km (approx.)

• Campings:

IMPORTANT information on the platform TraceMyWay and SPOT dear participant,

INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE SOBRE LA PLATAFORMA TraceMyWay Y SPOT

 

Estimado Participante,

 

Pienso que has tenido la oportunidad de seguirnos en directo durante los reconocimientos para la Maroc Challenge Winter Edition 2012, este seguimiento fue posible gracias a una plataforma web creada por la empresa traceMyWay, especialista en seguimientos de eventos deportivos en tiempo real  y de un terminal satelital, Spot, que llevábamos en nuestros vehículos.

Esta plataforma ha permitido que nos puedas seguir a lo largo del reconocimiento pero también que  juegues y ganes regalos ofrecidos por los patrocinadores del evento.

Pero esta plataforma no solo sirve para el seguimiento y la  diversión, es también una herramienta de seguridad muy importante, enlazada con una empresa de rescate internacional que ofrece servicio 24 horas al día, que en un caso de emergencia puede ser muy útil o hasta mismo vital. El terminal  nunca pierde la cobertura ya que no depende de la cobertura móvil sino que está enlazado con una de las mayores redes de satélites.

 

La organización cuenta con vehículos escoba y teléfonos de contacto en caso de situación de ayuda o emergencia, pero el sistema Spot es una ayuda adicional.

 

Por ese motivo os quiero dar a conocer sus funciones:

FUNCIÓN DE SEGURIDAD:

 

SOS:

Se utiliza esta función en caso de situación de peligro o cualquier otra emergencia para informar a los servicios de emergencia y a la organización sobre tu localización exacta y la necesidad de asistencia. El Centro de Respuestas de Emergencias GEOS alertará a las agencias apropiadas en todo el mundo a la vez que se pondrá en contacto con los organizadores de la Maroc Challenge para comunicarles tu situación.

 

BOTÓN DE AYUDA:

En el caso de situaciones que no amenacen tu seguridad puedes usar esta función para notificar a la organización que necesita ayuda.

 

CHEAK:

Esta función te permite informar a la organización y a tus contactos de que todo va bien y para que conozcan tu localización GPS a través de un mensaje programado. Pulsando botón se envía un email hasta a 10 contactos predeterminados.

MENSAJE PERSONALIZADO:

Esta función permite que tus amigos y familiares reciban un mensaje de confirmación con tu localización tan solo con pulsar un botón.

FUNCIÓN DE SEGUIMIENTO:

 

- Estarás en primera fila donde tus patrocinadores, familiares y amigos dispondrán de más información, que si ellos asistieran a la Maroc Challenge Winter Edition 2012.

- Podrán consultar en todo momento tu posición en el mapa y publicar tu aventura en las redes sociales Twitter y Facebook para potenciar la visibilidad de tu equipo.

 

- Comprobar tu ruta realizada
- Dejarte mensajes de apoyo en el interfaz
- Saber que hacen tus competidores.
- Una vez finalizada esta edición podrás conservar un recuerdo de la Maroc Challenge Winter Edition 2012 y volver a vivir la competición.

 

FUNCIÓN DE GAMIFICACIÓN:
