In Merzouga we will be staying for 2 nights. We will be visiting our school projects and do solidarity work in the area.
Just to give you all an idea of how it was and what you will encounter will still be the same today after so many years.
Doing what we like most!
After 2/3 nights in merzouga we will have an early start for Stage 7, 550 km.
This stage could be subject to changes depending how we have been travelling on the last stages, hopefully keeping as planned we will have a camp up in the Atlas or continue to Midelt.
We will go through Erfoud to enter the tracks to the "Monuments", later we will continue on the tracks to get to the main road to Goulmina where we will divert into the Ameyago Gorge, more than 20 years without passing through here. This will take up the Atlas were we will visit an old tunnel, supposedly it can be crossed. Then we will head to Er Rich were we will be handing the diabetes equipment to the association.
After our visit to our friends, also depending of the time, we will continue to the tracks that will lead us through a canyon to Midelt or get the road, were we will stay at Kasbah Asmaa for the night.
Stage 8, Midelt - Azrou - Fes, 253 km.
After having a great breakfast at Kasbah Asmaa we will start to make our way after refuelling our vehicles in Midelt. We will be diverting the main road to go off-road to Azrou where we will stop for a visit to the oldest cedar tree in Morocco. You will get the chance to see the barbary apes in the area.
We will continue on the tracks to head to Zaouia D Ifrane were we enjoy another great track that will lead us back to the road to Fes were we will stay for a night.
Putting a smile to the children with our visit!
We are dedicated to Leisure & Sports and collaborating locally & abroad in charitable works & Solidarity Projects on our annual Raids.
