Trip to portugal?

Hey All,

I´ve been bored and reading about portugal all night. It sounds like offroad heaven!!!!!! We should try and organize something for up there. Anyone up for it?

Adam the Club is in contact with a Portugal Club for  doing a trip,thinking for maybe easter as Tuggy suggested on one of our meetings,but ofcourse that would be a next year event :-)

From what I saw when I was up in Algarve, there are tracks everywhere.

After looking at some sites, The norte looks even better =). On Wikiloc there is a 10 day GPS route that does the whole of portugal north to south. It runs along the border the whole way. The same one is on a few bike forums as a great offroad trip.

It's only a 1000 and a bit kms, so either it's really heavy duty for that amount of days and we could just do a section of it.

Or if it is easy-moderate I would have thought the whole thing could be done in less then 10 days!?

Adam we have a friend who has offered to help us out in organising a raid were he would show us a few tracks we could do for maybe a long weekend in easter,he has a 4x4 club too so it would be nice to meet up with other offroaders from there.

That sounds perfect. Can't beat some local knowledge and Easter would be a good time to go.
